Biography: Englehart was known mostly for his realistic California and Pacific Northwest landscape scenes. He lived in Tacoma, WA, Portland, OR and the majority of his life in San Francisco and Oakland, California. Besides his prolific painting, he was also known for his prolific drinking and perished at age 48.
